Recently Nao has joined me in on this.

But I feel like I'm one of the only people that hasn't climbed onto the Twilight bandwagon, or just happens to hate the idea of the series completely. I know, I'll get fangirls probably going "HAVE YOU EVEN READ IT!?!?!?!?!" and I'll answer that: no.

I wasn't going to waste my time. Why? The idea is so cliche - there's nothing creative about it. Boy vampire meets girl human. They fall in love. Eventually have babies. Lather, rinse, repeat. Romanticized, over used, and boring.

But, finding out that Robert Pattinson, one of the main characters hates Twilight? Said the books should have never been published? Said SMeyers was mad? Made my freaking week.

It looks like he's trying SO hard to get out of this trilogy deal.

And yes, people that hate it - and the fangirls - Pattinson said he was signed on for a trilogy. Wonderful.

I read the first book and didn't like it. its basically this vampire guy who is single for 100 YEARS!!! decides that he loves this ghuman chick cuz she smells good/delicious. so he decides to be her boyfriend so he can smell her all day long.but he can't kill her,oh no,cuz then the smell would go away. so he tempts himself cuz he knows he can't kill her cuz all he does is want to sniff her.

I agree with you, hun. The book is as vapid as an eighty year old cunt. Pardon the vulgar analogy. I have come to lose a LOT of respect for people I once considered to be educated because they purchased and sat down and read all of the books and are raving mad by encouraging other people to read them and see the movie. I have lost faith in the general logic of our literary society for even allowing this monstrosity to print. I wouldn't wipe my ASS with those PAGES if it was the last form of tissue paper in the WORLD.

Get a leaf, people. Boycott this trash. Trash, trash, trash! If you want to read a good book, go pick up Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Or go get a 'Counting with Cheereos' book from the tot section-anything is better than this garbage. xD
